Over time, the increasing use of steel in construction continues to highlight the importance of steel products for innovation and development in the construction market around the world. Consequently, steelmakers seek to follow the evolution of this segment, promoting new products and solutions, through research, to meet the most challenging projects and demands. In Brazil, this reality is no different. However, we still find several opportunities for improvement that do not exploit the synergies between the various segments involved, and do not take advantage of the potential benefits to users and steel producers.
From the beginning, it was observed the need of the steel segment in civil construction to have a relationship between producers to generate conditions to fund studies and experiments aimed at strengthening the productive process of the entire sector. However, few companies were able to afford such initiatives and with experience to create long-term partnerships.
